Some kind person nominated my Draco-in-Finland H/D fic Sparks from the Fox's Tail, for the Drarry Best Drama-Angst Fic category! I am thrilled and flattered and happy that maybe the story will get some new readers! (Is "chuffed" a good word to use here, O Brit-pickers?)

I'm not even sure what category I'd put that fic into (barring "cool Finnish magical incantations"), so it's interesting to see what someone else thinks.

Now I sort of feel I should go nominate a fic or two…

ETA Now that I'm trying to nominate fics, I see that what category you place a fic in for nomination may be partly determined by what categories you haven't already nominated something else in! So many lovely fics, so few spots….

LOL, chuffed you are, and chuffed you should be!

And I was going to say exactly that, about the categories... I know I was a bit creative with my own nominations, just so I could fit more fics in. Like a lot of people, I probably tend to read mostly in the same one or two genres, so unless you stretch the definitions a bit, you only get to nominate a couple of fics.

Yeah - and even creative-category-bending helps give fics exposure.

I just looked up choughs, wondering if they had any relation to being chuffed, and was surprised to see they are like crows with red trimming. I thought they'd be little and fluffy.

And now I've been reduced to calling something AU because it's EWE, just to squeeze another nomination in….
