It's a small list, but here you are! Artists and podficcers are welcome, just let me know! All these are H/D so far.
Fics
The Tapestry of Kinship: H/D, PG-13 (romance, not explicit), about 14,600 words. Summary: Harry is at loose ends, Draco is good with needles, and Draco's young daughter wants to see a certain tapestry repaired. The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black will never be the same. A story about family, healing, old losses and new loves. Also a little bit about stars, goats, and Dirigible Plums. The link above is for AO3; you can also read it posted in my journal here. And there's a German translation, The Tapestry of Kinship – Der Wandteppich im Hause Black, thanks to
phonixfeder!
Sparks from the Fox's Tail: H/D, PG-13 (romance, not explicit), about 17,000 words. Or read it here on AO3. Summary: Draco is frustrated with his career as a travel writer, when a mini-tirade from Mrs. Weasley and an encounter with the portrait of an intrepid great-great-great-aunt lead him to Finland to study wandless magic. Harry is – just being contrary and following his sweet-tooth, or taking the subtle route to saving the world? A story of renewal; the Finnish magical incantations are genuine, part of a tradition that was still active in the past century. Also check out the picture and video gallery (Chapter 2). Funken, die aus dem Schwanz eines Fuchses Kommen (Sparks from the Fox's Tail in German translation, thanks to
phonixfeder!) There's also a brief and gorgeous remix of this by
fantasyfiend09 called Aamu is Dreaming, from H/D Remix 2016.
Beekeeping part 1 and part 2 (of 2; complete); H/D, NC-17, about 14,600 words. Or read it here on AO3. Summary: A few years after the war, Harry needs distance from the British wizarding world and volunteers abroad as a teacher in a poor rural school. Draco is a low-budget traveler, wandering wherever his curiosity leads him. Their paths cross in Malawi, “the warm heart of Africa.” Das Züchten von Bienen (Beekeeping in German translation, thanks to
phonixfeder!) And also a fabulous podfic, thanks to
semperfiona!
Abraxan Wings part 1 and part 2 (of 2; complete); H/D, NC-17, about 14,500 words. Or read the complete story here on AO3. Summary: AU following the confrontation in the bathroom, which in this fic takes place around the middle of year 6. When the Sectumsempra curse severs a nerve at the base of Draco’s spine, he loses some abilities he may never recover. It isn’t the end of the road, though – just the beginning of a major change of course. A mostly serious but not gloomy coming of age /romance /adventure story, featuring the Room of Parole, Mme Maxime, Rosemonde the flying horse, and Harry Potter on sax.
Abraxan Wings in German translation (thanks to
phonixfeder!)
Seeing Draco Malfoy; H/D, NC-17, about 12,400 words. Or read it here on AO3 (in easier black and white). Summary: It's a few years after the war, Harry is an Auror, Ginny's broken up with him, and Draco runs a "Magical Repairs and Reparations" service. And then there’s Ignatius – devastatingly good-looking, temperamental, and addicted to gingernut biscuits. When Harry loses his glasses in a fight and learns that they’ve landed in Draco’s hands, he’s suspicious. But soon after that, life starts looking up. There's a terrific podfic of this by the gifted
fire_juggler. And there's also Draco Malfoy sehen (Seeing Draco Malfoy in German translation), thanks to
phonixfeder!
A Cherry When It's Blooming; H/D pre-slash, PG, 1950 words. Summary: Cherry blossoms tumble at a breath, but their subtle magic lingers. A tree at Hogwarts offers Draco mysterious solace through harsh times. This fic begins in May of Harry and Draco's fifth year at school, and ends in winter of Draco's seventh year. A remix of artist
kazuya22’s lovely Four Seasons series. Or read it here on AO3.
Ice Snakes, Glow-worms and Wolverine Stew, or read it here on AO3. H/D, R, 8400 words. Summary: Harry Potter apparently wants to talk to Draco about something, but odd events keep getting in the way of that conversation – and bringing them closer together. Featuring serpentine travels, misbehaving birds, dubious roofing projects, a gay beach, and an unexpected matchmaker.
What the Werbelande Wind Blew In, or read it here on AO3. H/D, R, 4175 words. Summary: A snowstorm blows a pale and pointy person into Harry’s coffee shop, and brings poetry (mostly medieval) into his life. And then there’s the flying cock monster, the penis tree, and the warrior rabbits.
The Lily, The Violet, The Tiny Babe. H/D, G, 1324 words. Summary: From beyond the Veil, she senses that her son Harry needs her – but who is that very blond baby in his arms? Learning that she is a grandmother takes Lily on an emotional journey. A remix of
sassy_cissa's loving little story The Scent of Violets, for H/D Remix 2016. You can also see this in Russian translation, thanks to Ara-Ara!
Hippomancy for Beginners (on AO3). H/D, NC_17, 11,500 words. Summary: When Draco desperately insists on becoming a Centaur Liaison, he doesn’t know what he’s getting into, especially with that annoying hero-turned-hermit Harry Potter living right at the entrance to the Forbidden Forest. Not to mention foreign unicorn women, slavering three headed beasts, bitter brews, unexpected friendships, and the consequences of a very cocky vocabulary.
East of the Sun and West of the Moon from HP Drizzle Fest, or read here on AO3. H/D, PG-13, about 6000 words. A retelling of the Norse fairy tale. Summary: One stormy Thursday evening, a big white bear named Draco turns up to carry Harry away from the dreadful Dursleys. They get along fairly happily together until one night Harry’s curiosity gets the better of him, and Draco is whisked away to his wicked aunt’s castle, East of the Sun and West of the Moon. It will take a strong wind to bring Harry that far…..
Drabbles and ficlets
My H/D LDWS round 3 drabbles; 8 drabbles, H/D, variously G, PG, PG-13, R; 100 - 450 words, theme "Magical Artefacts". I had the honor of being the last drabble writer standing for that round! There are podfics for these! And an incredibly cool remix of one by
megyal! You can also read these drabbles on AO3.
Cracky ficlet for "Harry's Death/Rebirth Comment Fest": "King's Cross and So is Draco" ; H/D, R, 638 words. Summary: It's not Dumbledore but Draco who awaits Harry at King's Cross (great prompt by
vaysh11). This Draco turned up for the party wearing nothing but attitude. (And Harry was in his birthday suit, as in canon, so...)
My H/D LDWS round 7 drabbles; 4 H/D drabbles, all G rated, length between 140 and 375 words, theme "Quotations from Albus Dumbledore".
