khaluluI was extremely surprised and honored (not to mention tickled pink) to learn that my H/D drabble "Quidditch for Lovers (Pillow Talk)" has been nominated in the "best drabble" and "best line" categories (for the last line, "When we're close, we open,") at HP Fanfic Fan Poll Awards over at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Should you so desire, you can vote for fics for the awards anytime until March 31, by going here. Between all the categories, there are approximately a gazillion (well, 140) fics (find the nominations list here), but not to worry, you can vote one category at a time and come back to do others later, as clarified here. (Coincidentally, the two categories I'm nominated in are quick to read through, because there are only six drabbles nominated and they are each 100 words, and though there are many nominations for best line, they're only one sentence each - reading the rest of the fic is optional.) You just need to be sure to pick first, second and third choices for each category you do decide to vote for, and not send more than one ballot per category (i.e. don't stuff the ballot box).
For more info on how the awards work, you can go here and here - they happen several times a year, with different themes at different times, love being a central theme this time (along with family, smut, "state of living", anniversaries and certain holidays). In April you'll be able to nominate fics with themes of war, legal and social issues, magic, fantasy and sci-fi, graduations, etc. This is the first time they've done these as an internet poll, so it's easy to participate (even if it's sometimes hard to make up your mind)!
