hd_remix. It's called Aamu is Dreaming and it's phenomenal. The fic itself is short, just 1600 perfect words, but it's dense with meaning. In my fic, Draco goes to Finland to study wandless magic in the Finnish magical tradition. Aamu is an elderly neighbor of his host family, who is a seer. This remix is the story of Draco (and Narcissa, and Harry) as seen in Aamu's vision and through the lens of her understanding of Finnish legend. In particular the story of Lemminkäinen, a reckless young hero who dies and is revived by his mother's perseverance, with the help of a bee that flies to heaven and back.
One of the greatest pleasures in writing is to feel that the audience truly understands, and in this remix I felt the author understood parts of my story even better than I did myself. And in addition, this is a masterful writer. I really look forward to learning who it is!
